Tea Tree organic wild crop Grand Cru, essential oil

Fragrance: pungent, herbaceous. Effect: refreshing, soothing, air-purifying, invigorating. Uses: aroma care, room scenting, cosmetics. Helps with: winter ailments, skin impurities. Provides: clarified skin, purified indoor air. The tea tree is native to Australia and the tea tree oil distilled from its leaves has been prized for centuries thanks to its countless benefits. Its properties are so wide-ranging and compelling that it has become the most well-known essential oil in the world. However, tea tree oil has become a victim of its own success: ecological problems in plantation production and many dubious products on the market are the result. A quality feature of good tea tree oil and good skin tolerance is a high terpinen-4-ol content (over 35%) and a low 1.8 cineole content (under 5%). Only fresh tea tree oil should be used on the skin (max. 6 months for skin applications)!

Classification

Safety guidelines

When using aromatherapy, especially in sensitive phases of life (children, pregnancy, breastfeeding, senior citizens, pre-existing conditions), consult the relevant literature for the right choice of oil and various application options. Essential oils are strong-smelling substances, so caution is advised if you are prone to migraines or epilepsy, if you have small children, and when scenting rooms occupied by pets. Individual components can be irritating to the skin, so always dilute the oils and avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes.
